MS Clinical Psychology | Registered Clinical Counsellor |
Canadian Certified Counsellor | Certified Gottman Couples Therapist
I want to start by recognizing that you being here means that it's been difficult for you lately, but you're still putting on a fight! Even if it feels scary or just too hard, or if you had a not-so-pleasant experience with therapy before, together, we will make sure this is a great step for you.
I know that our wounds show up in our relationships - social, professional, intimate, and even with ourselves. You may seem to "have it all together" on the outside, but continue to doubt yourself; berate yourself with negative self-talk; and wonder if you'll ever feel enough - at work, with friends, or with your partner.
Or maybe you just need to embark on a journey toward self-discovery and figuring out life-direction, or you're an immigrant trying to bridge the cultural gap & feel home away from home.
I help you heal from your trauma and work on the barriers of your healing & growth so that you're grounded in who you are and no longer tippy toe, mold yourself or bend backwards out of fear of rejection or disapproval. You'll finally build relationships where you actually belong, feel safe, and connected - truly and authentically!

If you're struggling in your relationship, it might give you hope to know that it actually takes more than love to make a relationship work. I help couples who long for emotional safety, but no matter what they try, are stuck in fighting, withdrawal & disconnection. I help you detect the well-intended but destructive patterns you engage in and teach you practical skills that help you revive your love and friendship and rebuild your sense of safety, understanding, and emotional connection.
I can help you bring harmony, safety, and stability to your relationship instead of chaos, hostility, and discord. I can help you find hope, purpose & inner peace, and I can help you see a Future-You enjoying confidence & genuine smiles. Being from the Middle East myself gives me a strong understanding of the experience as well as of that particular cultural background. I can also help you navigate a multicultural relationship and the unique set of challenges that come when we don't share the same culture as our partner.
