Hi there! I am so glad and proud of you for being here because it means it's been difficult for you lately, but you're still putting on a fight! Even if it feels scary or just too hard, or if you had a not-so-pleasant experience with therapy before, together, we will make sure this is a great step for you.

Whatever your reason for seeking out therapy, I’m dedicated to helping you find your way to better mental health. I can help you heal from previous trauma or an abusive relationship, or to overcome depression and anxiety, or to just embark on a journey toward self-discovery and figuring out life-direction.

If you're struggling in your relationship, it might give you hope to know that it actually takes more than love to make a relationship work. With all the challenges we face in our daily lives, it often becomes difficult to nourish our relationship. The good news is that it's not an "innate" thing. There are skills you can actually develop and learn. And I can help you acquire these skills so that you strengthen your relationship and bring back that missing spark.

I specialize in working with couples going through relationship conflicts or seeking to strengthen their bond and intimacy. I also specialize in working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and/or adapting to life changes. I have extensive trauma training that enables me to help individuals who have experienced trauma. This can include a life-threatening event, intimate partner violence, domestic abuse, and assault. I also often work with immigrants (1st and 2nd generation) who are still trying to navigate building a home away from home. Being from the Middle East myself gives me a strong understanding of the experience as well as of that particular cultural background. I have also lived in so many culturally-diverse communities, which has exposed me to different backgrounds and enabled me to practice from a culturally-competent lens.
* I speak fluent Arabic, and I can offer my services in Arabic.
